Scurry Outdoors South is pleased to announce our recent acquisition of the World Predator & Hunting Expo. First, we want to reiterate that we will have the World Predator Calling Competition at the Great South Predator & Wild Hog Extravaganza. We feel that it is very important that we continue this important segment of the Expo before another year lapses since this competition has played a very significant part in the Predator industry over the recent years.

We have some wonderful plans in store for the 2012 Expo. We will be giving the convention a new positive image as far as content and sponsorship opportunities. Due to anticipated growth, we are looking to move this event to a convention center. Currently the great state of Texas is on our radar as we are in current negotiations with a facility that we think would be a nice venue to host this event. Once these negotiations are complete, we will post the location, dates and times.

One major change that will take place is that in addition to predator hunting, we will also be featuring wild hog hunting as part of this event. We have reached out to the predator community on this subject and the consensus is that hog hunting would be a great fit for this event. We will be reaching out to both predator & wild hog hunting industry manufacturers and companies large and small, offering them the opportunity to sponsor at different levels in an effort maximize their exposure as well as have the ability to work within a sponsor level that will fit their budget. We will be seeking Elite sponsors from all aspects of these two hunting industries to have exclusive, non-conflicting product sponsorship opportunities. The types of sponsors that we will be seeking will include firearm, ammunition, electric game calls, manual calls, decoys, camouflage, optics, night vision products and hog hunting equipment and supply companies, just to name a few. Scurry Outdoors South wishes to remain neutral in all that we do so everyone gets an equal opportunity to benefit from the different levels of sponsorship as well as give us a non-biased approach to the event sponsors and exhibiting companies.

We feel that Brent Rueb, along with his support staff, did an excellent job over the past four years. As most can attest, producing events requires lots of time and dedication as well as support from all industries involved. We have received numerous emails and phone calls from many people in the industry and they are very excited that we have taken a leap of faith to carry on this event. We want to make sure that we produce a very exciting and memorable experience to all that attend and exhibit at the Great South Predator & Wild Hog Extravaganza May 20-22, 2011 in Perry, GA and the 2012 World Predator & Wild Boar Hunting Expo.
