2nd Annual Great South Predator & Wild Hog Challenge

MACON, GEORGIA (September 28, 2011) –: Scurry Outdoors South, LLC is promoting the SECOND ANNUAL GREAT SOUTH PREDATOR & WILD HOG CHALLENGE beginning January 27-29, 2012. Scurry Outdoors South will be teaming up again with Bass Pro Shops who will host the event at their Sportsman’s Warehouse facility in Macon, Georgia. The Georgia Outdoor News will be joining the team this year to help raise awareness of their Sportsman’s Pantry charity.
Participating teams will have from 12:01 am on Friday, January 27th to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29th to hunt and register their harvest at the Bass Pro Shop in Macon, Georgia. All harvested animals will be registered in the competition, then weighed and evaluated by the Scurry Outdoors South event staff. The National Boarasaurus Hunting Challenge Kicks Off

MACON, GEORGIA (September 1, 2011) – Scurry Outdoors South announced the start of the National Boarasaurus Hunting Challenge, beginning September 1, 2011 and ending January 29, 2012. During the five-month challenge, hunters across the United States will vie to bag the largest wild boar, with the winner claiming a $1,000 plus many other prizes.
The champion will be announced on the final day of the 2nd Annual Great South Predator and Wild Hog Challenge (presented by Scurry Outdoors South in conjunction with Bass Pro Shops). The Wild Hog Challenge, a three-day hunting event with prizes for the hunters who bag the largest predator or boar during that time, will be held at the Bass Pro Shop Sportsman’s Warehouse in Macon, Georgia from January 27-29, 2012. World Predator & Wild Boar Hunting Expo 2012

Scurry Outdoors South is pleased to announce our recent acquisition of the World Predator & Hunting Expo. First, we want to reiterate that we will have the World Predator Calling Competition at the Great South Predator & Wild Hog Extravaganza. We feel that it is very important that we continue this important segment of the Expo before another year lapses since this competition has played a very significant part in the Predator industry over the recent years.
We have some wonderful plans in store for the 2012 Expo. We will be giving the convention a new positive image as far as content and sponsorship opportunities. Due to anticipated growth, we are looking to move this event to a convention center. Currently the great state of Texas is on our radar as we are in current negotiations with a facility that we think would be a nice venue to host this event. As the founding owner and promoter of the World Predator & Hunting Expo, I have very exciting news to share with everyone in the Predator Industry. After much consideration, I have decided to sell my interest in the Expo. I have put a great deal of thought into this and it has been a very tough decision. I have devoted 4 years to this event and I wish to thank all of the sponsors, exhibitors, support staff and attendees whose support over the years has helped make the Expo a success.
